Zack Hample visited all 30 Major League ballparks this season, and his routine was pretty much the same wherever he went: 1) Take some cool photos of the stadium, 2) Meet the local ballhawks, pose for pictures with them, and sign their copies of The Baseball, and 3) Break the local record for baseballs snagged in a single game.
To be completely accurate though, I need to point out that #3 wasn't accomplished at every stadium. A handful of stadium records, four to be exact, successfully withstood Hample's assault on the record books. Here they are, in no particular order:
And that's it. Just four stadium records are not currently held by Hample. There are, however, four other stadiums at which Hample is tied for the record:
Hample has indeed set the bar high at virtually every stadium in the league, and ballhawks everywhere will be gunning for his records in 2012.
