Award-Winning Season Includes 314 Balls, 6.54 Average, and 2 Foul Balls

myGameBalls.com 2009 Junior Ballhawk of the Year, Alex KNew York Ballhawk Alex K emerged victorious this week as myGameBalls Members cast their votes for the first inaugural Junior Ballhawk of the Year. Picking up 9 first place votes, 4 second place votes, and 1 third place votes, Alex finished a comfortable 13 points ahead of the nearest competitor. Alex's 2009 stats made him the clear choice for the award. His 314 total balls were the most for any Junior Ballhawk (under 18 years old), and good for 3rd place on the overall leaderboard. He also had the highest average (6.54 balls per game) of any Junior Ballhawk and finished 4th overall in that category. Alex's 2009 stats also include 2 foul balls. Finishing in 2nd and 3rd place in the award voting were Aaron King (221 total balls) and Joe Faraguna (127 total balls). Both had stellar seasons.
